Is There a “Free Canada Visa”? The Truth From Sardar Jagmohan Singh

People search for a “Sardar Jagmohan Singh free visa”. We do not offer visas, free or paid, and Canada does not have a free visa program. Here is what is true about visa costs and who pays for what.

Important: This website is not a recruiter. We cannot give you a job, an interview, an LMIA or a visa, and we never ask for payment. Anyone who asks you to pay for a Canadian job offer is not following Canadian rules.

We do not offer visas

This website is an independent information site. We do not sell, arrange or give away visas, jobs or LMIAs, and we never ask for payment. Only Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) can issue a Canadian visa or permit.

Canada has no “free visa” program

There is no Canadian program that gives free visas or free work permits to the public. Most applicants pay government fees directly to IRCC. Common examples:

ApplicationIRCC fee (CAD)
Visitor visa100
Study permit150
Work permit155
Open work permit holder fee+100
Biometrics85 per person (family maximum 170)

Some people, such as certain refugee claimants or vulnerable workers, can qualify for fee exemptions under specific programs. These are decided by IRCC, not by agents.

What “visa sponsorship” really means

When a Canadian employer hires you from abroad, it may pay for the LMIA. Employers are not allowed to charge you recruitment fees. That is sometimes called “sponsorship”, but you still apply for your own work permit and usually pay the IRCC fee.

Warning signs

  • Contact only through WhatsApp, Facebook or Telegram.
  • An offer letter from a free email address such as Gmail or Yahoo.
  • A request to pay for an LMIA, “visa processing”, a “job reservation”, training or a medical booking.
  • A job offer without any interview.
  • Pressure to pay quickly because “seats are limited”.

If this happens, stop, do not send money or documents, and report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. In Pakistan you can also report to the FIA Cybercrime Wing, and in India at cybercrime.gov.in.
